Will biotechnology companies usually pay for you to get your masters and doctorate?
I am interested in biomedical research and biotechnology, but I know that many jobs in this area require doctorates. Can you get a job with a company after college and then go for your higher degrees with their financial support? If not, how do most people pay for all of these things?

- Welcome to the land of working while you are in school to pay for the things not covered by your student loans.
- Masters - maybe paid for by company, most masters you have to pay for yourself. PhD - nearly every single PhD student in the sciences has tuition paid for and receives a stipend for working in a lab. No one actually pays for their own PhD. Downside: 5-8 years of 60 hour weeks getting paid at most 20-30k/year.
