How to go about in the field of biotechnology?
I am a student of standard XI and want to enquire how to do biotechnology. What are the best institutions for it? Is there any need of computer knowledge in it especially in the field of genetic engineering?

- If in the UK then do a UCAS search for institutions offering biotechnology (some will call it Bioscience) then visit the homepage of any where the courses sound interesting. Most bioscience degrees now include at least one module of computing skills. The institute I teach at includes 3 modules of computing, one for each year of the degree.
